Why It Matters
A windshield used to be a single pane of glass. It isn't anymore.
Since the 1970s, the windshield has been a key safety component of the vehicle's structure: it supports the passenger airbag and helps hold the roof up in a rollover. Today it also carries the cameras and sensors that run Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): lane keeping, automatic braking and other features designed to protect the driving public.
If the windshield is replaced without calibrating these systems, the safety features will not work as designed. Calibration takes significant investment and highly specialized equipment to meet the demanding specifications of automobile manufacturers worldwide. We went all in.

Who We Are
Mitchell's Body Shop has been in the collision repair industry since 1952, when a windshield was bonded with silicone or butyl and replaced with simple tools. As cars changed, so did the tools required and the skills of the technician.
We created Tri-Star ADAS in 2023 to calibrate the ADAS systems used across the collision repair industry. Opening an auto glass company was the logical next step. Mitchell's Auto Glass now brings that skill and capability to the greater Jackson area: glass replacement backed by a proven calibration shop.
